My summer wasn't that special. I actually thought I'd go to meet someone of my online friends but it didn't happen. I've still got time, but I need to find out what to do in fall, since I don't want to continue studying what I've been studying at uni.

We go back September 4th, and I have like, 2 books I have to read by then, and write a 3 page reprt on xD

I'm good at like, waiting until the last possible minute to get all this done, then staying up the night before school getting it all set up, only to pass it in the next day xD

Anyways yeah..my summer sucked. Nothing happened like..at all O_O
I've left PC.

Why? I'm tired of all the people here who think they're cooler than they actually are, I'm tired of the way certain people get away with things, just because they're friends with the staff here, I'm tired of all the raging teen-angst contained within these forums I'm tired of the way no one knows how to take a joke anymore, I'm tired of how I've been treated by the people I've thought to be my "friends" here, and I'm tired of all the unwanted drama PC has caused in my life over the past several months.

Plus, Pokemon just sucks anyways.

Meh.

I want to meet some of the people I have met online, but I live in Western NC, practically Hicktown USA.

So meh. I too have a book project due on the first day of skewl...but I don't have to turn it in until next semester thanks to having English next semester.

Imma reading The Gunslinger [revised version] by Steven King >.<

My mom loves Stephen King and James Patterson, those are her favorite writers. As for me, I don't really have a favorite writer- I'm not too picky when it comes to books. I love reading just about anything ♥ I really like murder mysterys <3

Argh..Christians..Always trying to convert you to be like them T_T

xD I never read anything by stephen King; I know my mom has alot of his old books from Colledge around the house..somewhere.. >_>

I saw some of the movies they made his books into (IE "It"), and they all...sucked, so I doubt I'll ever end up reading anything from him xD

Haha, yea, all the films of his books have been horrible apparently.
I'm glad I haven't watched them.
I never read books anymore. Just manga. I haven't even finished the Harry Potter book yet, and I've been reading them since I was small. Too many words maaan.

@Toki_Wartooth: I think that's an unfair generalization of Christians. :\ Not everyone of the denomination is like that. On the contrary, I've actually met very few who are.

Anyway, I love reading but I barely read anything anymore. I hated the books we read this last year in English class. :\ We do have a bunch of new books in the house now (including some Stephen King, which I haven't read since I was 13 or so XD), so maybe I'll do that before summer runs out.

Harry Potter books do tend to be really long. ^^;
I've been reading them since I've been small too and I have to admit... they're too long. XD
I heard the new book is really good though. The end chapter sucks though.

I don't mind the length so long as it's all relevant... Rowling does seem to have problems cutting some unimportant parts out, though, so reading can get tedious. :|

Yeah... reading some of the unimportant parts get dull to me sometimes. When I read books, I always read something that seems like it's all actiony and has some fantasy, magic or even pirates in it because that stuff all interests me. And when I just read something that just is a filler in a book I literally want to fall asleep and skip to the next chapter. Like honestly... who cares if Hermione's face got turned into a cat's in the first book or if Harry goes to the Burrow and it wastes like... 20 pages. O_o;;;

@Emma: Manga and some fantasy books are all I read right now. Of course... A good swashbucklin' pirate book is fun too! >:3

I don't mind filler to some extent--I mean, it's fun to see what they're up to and such, but I don't need every detail. Either the fourth or fifth was the worst for that--I know one of the books she didn't have an editor for because she didn't want any leaks. x_x I'm glad she smartened up after it though.

I honestly thought the fifth was the worst book. It just had too much unneeded information and paragraphs, and well... it was just bad. XD And yeah... It had just too many fillers.
Hopefully the seventh won't be that bad. I'm planning on buying it soon.

I think it probably was the fifth that had no editor then. XD I didn't like it either; Harry was just too angry and filled with teenage angst all of a sudden. I hated that. :|

The seventh is pretty good. People either hated it or loved it though. XD;

The seventh book barely has any fillers, (Well... I didn't spot any, anyway. XD) so you shouldn't really worry about any in it. =P

I agree that the fifth book had loads of fillers, I skipped a lot of pages because of pointless info. There was one point where I just gave up because of them.

I loved the seventh book, didn't end in the way I imagined, but it was awesome anyway, in my opinion. XD

Meh... about time Harry got SOME teenage angst. What teenager doesn't? XD

Just um... be sure not to spoil the seventh book for me... 'cause I'll probably re-read the spoilers again and again and start to hate the book... then I'll start going all paranoid fangirl on the storyline. XD

I...don't remember any natural teenage angst for me. XD Like, maybe some days I won't feel 100%, but not to the point where I get mad at anything and everything like he did. It really bothered me, but I tend to find I'm the only one who hated that so...oh well. :B
