Keep someone infected with PKRS in your party, and after a few battles, it will spread to others in your party.

If you put it in your box pokerus lasts longer than when its in your party but remember to continuously spread it so it doesn't become uncontagious.

You know how there are a 1/8192 chances of encountering a shiny pokemon? Well what are the odds of encountering a Pokemon with PKRS ? If anyone knows :D

Even lower than that- it's a 1/21,845 chance. Yeah.

There are two ways to get Pokerus:

1) Battle Pokemon until you get it (Don't forget to catch the shinies you find on the way!)
2) Trade with a friend.

Option 1 is... yeah. I went with Option 2- I traded with my friend, who obtained the elusive virus on his Diamond. My friend is surprisingly lucky, come to think of it- he hatched a Shiny Magby once.

Just ask for a PKRS infected Pokemon in the Wifi forums. I'd offer one of my own Pokemon, but I've yet to get my Wifi working.

Hey, does anyone know if the Power Items give four EVs if the Poke that's holding it is being trained in the wrong stat? For example, say I was EV Training my Larvitar in Atk, forgot to take his Power Bracer off, and started training him against Golbats to up his Speed. Would he still get four EVs in Atk for every Golbat I killed? And does Pokerus affect this?

EDIT: Nevermind, Smogon had the answer.

Solar Beam fails without Sunny Day. Also, what's a Power Herb?

exactly my point, power herb allows moves that require a building up stage to skip that building up stage.

so instead of gathering light, Houndoom would use solarbeam instantly.

Power Herb can be bought at the battle tower for 48BP I think. It works on moves like dig and fly and such.

Ah, I see. But it's a one-time use item used only to power up a single move- after that, Solar Beam is a waste of a moveslot. Give Houndoom something better, like HP [Fighting], and a Life Orb/ Choice Specs.

Is this good for swellow? jolly nature, ability guts, moves U-turn, endeavor, aerial ace, and facade, and the item it's holding is toxic orb. Should I change that to maybe to fouse slash? (oh ev spread 252 attack, and speed)

Swellow's Attack stat isn't the best, although that COULD work.....
Just watch out for the Poison Damage ;)

Specs on a pokemon that can learn Nasty Plot isn't that great, it's the same reason that Dragon Dancers or Agility users dont come with Achoice Scarf, they can get the boost and freedom of movement.

Life Orb on a pokemon with fragile defenses and relying on a Stat Upper isn't that great

Item should be a Focus Sash to enable at least one NP sweep

Which Iv Caculator do you use? Regardless, MetalKid's Caculator works best. http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/OnlineProgram/Calculators/IV.aspx

It gets double the boost like Swift Swim when infected with a Stats condition.

He's destroyed by common things such as Bolt-Beam, and with such low defenses, I'd say no.
