Wow, you guys discuss mad stuff when I'm not here. So I'll just reply to the 2 things I happened to see.

-You guys us GameFAQs? Doesn't that totally ruin the whole "putting eveidence together and solving mysteries" thing?

-I press the buttons. I'm not a big fan of having to whip out the stylus every ferw seconds, and I am not about to make a fool out of myself by yelling "Hold It!" and "Objection!" into my mic!

I don't use GameFaqs. Well, actually, that's not true... I only used it once after I thought I tried every combination. I don't really like GameFaqs--long story behind that.

Yelling Objection! and Hold It! into the mic? Hehe, that's hard to do. I don't do that either, especially at night when everyone's sleeping. I usually hold my stylus while I play. I love my styluses (is this the right plural form?)! ^-^

Anyways, how far are you now? And why are we the only three that post here?

Umm we're the only 3 tat post because we're the 3 kewlest!

Anyway, I'm just into the 4th case.

Spoiler:
I like the idea of playing as Mia again, but I really hope it's not just a one-day trial. I would really like to get to go and do some investigating as Mia!

Okay, so thoughts on the 4th case, beginning of the 5th and the game in general:
Spoiler:
1. Young Edgeworth is a beaaaaaast
2. The 4th case explains a lot about the 1st case
3. I can't understand why Nick wants to help Iris if he's almost 100% sure that she's Dahlia. I mean, she almost ruined his life and now he wants to devote his life to defending her
4. I was really looking forward to Edgeworth v. Godot, and instead I get Franziska. I mean, I wanted to see her in this game, but not in this circumstance.
5. This game is so much shorter than the 1st and 2nd. What ever happened to a good old 3-day trial? All of them have been done in 1 or 2 days thus far and I can't help but feel that this game is lacking a little bit in case length.

ey wolfie! me and waveguide really are outposting you, eh? hehe...

Spoiler:
1. a beast, you say? i agree, he is quite smexy... if that is what you were trying to say :P
2. i agree. nuff said
3. i thought that at first too, but then i started thinking that iris isnt dahlia. perhaps theyre only related or something. it just doesnt seem likely
4. i felt that way too, but i <3 franziska so im pretty cool with it
5. yeah... it is short, but longer than the second game i think, cuz theres one more trial. it also might be short though because theres no investigation in the fourth case

I'm back! Both on the fifth case already?

Spoiler:

Don't you just love playing as Edgeworth? That was cool. I only messed up once with him, I think, during a Psyche Lock, or "Psycho Lock," as he says. Gumshoe is like your Phoenix's Maya, being like a sidekick and all. And I like how Franziska shows up, but...

Wow, I stayed up entirely too late beating the last case last night, but it was worth it (and by late I mean 'til about 1 am.... hardcore stuff)

So, my final thoughts on the final Phoenix game

Spoiler:
1. So Iris was really Iris and Dahlia was just being channeled. The whole thing made a lot more sense to me after that.
2. I thought Godot's finale was amazing. The blood tears was something straight out of a movie.
3. Who am I kidding? THe whole game, the whole series actually, was like a movie. And an extremely well-written one.
4. I don't "Awww" in my head much (or "Awww" much otherwise), but when Iris said that she was the one in the relationship with Nick it made me.
5. The only element that I thought was predictable about the final case was that Maya was channeling Dahlia. I figured that out pretty quickly.
6. My only gripe with the ending was that I feel like I need some more closure on Nick's romantic interest. I mean, obviously he had some feelings for both Maya and Iris, and I was really curious as to who he'd pick. Hopefully that'll be resolved in the case in Apollo Justice with Phoenix in it.
7. I take that back. I had two gripes. I was really hoping that the third case would be a three-dayer. It just didn't feel long enough without all of the extra investigation.
8. My rankings of the 3 games in order- JFA, T&T, PW:AA

This game was really, really addicting. I understand why you stayed up so late playing it.

Spoiler:

I loved that picture in Misty's locket thing, the one with Mia trying to fix the broken urn and Maya crying. I laughed at that--that urn's been broken at least three times now, and Pearl tries to keep it a secret from Maya.

I got really worried in the middle of the case, when Maya and Pearl were stranded. I thought that since they were supposedly the only ones there and stuck in the middle of the night freezing, that they were in grave danger or that one of them actually was the murderer. The end brought so much relief.

But I still wanted to see Franziska give Phoenix the drawing that Maya drew on de Killer's card! When she gave back Gumshoe's jacket, I expected her to give the card too, but no, she didn't. I wanted to see how Phoenix would react to that.

And I completely agree with you about the lack of closure. Hopefully everything will be revealed in Apollo Justice.

Have you noticed that in each of the original final cases of each game, you cross-examine something other than a human directly? The parrot, the transceiver, and the spirit of Dahlia. Just something I thought about.

Yeah, I liked that picture too. Funny moment. And I must say, I was kind of dissapointed by the lack of card from Franziska too. And interesting observation!
