Continous abuse of the system by several members, even after getting several notices to stop.
It most likely won't make a comeback.

what was rep exactly? was it from a long time ago?
If it anything like the rep I know you got rep points for good posts that people likes and they'd rep you.

And you gain rep power for milestone years on forum, posts and reps.

Rep power is how much rep points you give when you rep someone.

I just liked the comment system that came with it. If I found a witty post that didn't merit a real reply to it, I'd just rep it. It was much easier and more to the point than PMing.

But I'd also get negative rep for absolutely no reason. I think it was just because I was staff. XD But people would rep--negatively or positively--for such trivial things that it just got irritating. People would complain about any negative rep they got and in the end, we got tired of deleting it so it was just disabled altogether.
