Thanks to Water Pokemon Master from www.pokebeach.com for the scan.

A balanced card. Great in the beginning of the game, especially when you draw Hercross and put only him on the fielf. His ability can block all basic pokemon attacks when he's the only one in play. Useful for the first 2 turnes, after that you need to get other pokemon because 70 HP will not last very long.

2 energy for a 30 attack is somehow below avarage, but it's good enough for just a basic pokemon. Vs. EX he might add 20, being good for 50 total but 50 will not do much a a 150 EX--He'll be KO in no-time.

Nothing special more, just play it as your only pokemon when you manage to draw it when the game starts, otherwise not. Also don't let it be your only pokemon for more then at max. 2 turns.

OK, firstly, a fire type with a weakness to itself isn't good!
For the early-game stalling, I'd rather use Skarmory from DS, because it's a metal type and can stall with metal energy(s) and steelwing. also, it allows you to search for any metal pkmn (like delta species).

This thing's first attack is useless, because you wont have any discarded energy in early game and its own attacks dont discard energy. its second attack is too weak to be used as a main force, and 70HP wont last a single turn against most evolved ex's.

So, IMO this card is only good for countering BASIC non-fire type ex's, especially Registeel ex (EM), whose Wide Laser can be a HELL OF A PAIN at early to mid game as it can KO all your benched basics in just a couple of turns. other than that, this card is useless.

This card is a basic Basic... 70 HP, better than most basics, even those who don't evolve (well, they had boosts too nowadays...), 2 attacks, one to draw and one to attack with a plus...

I would rather pot up some evolving ones...
