    [PokeCommunity.com] 12/11 - COTD - Dusclops (EX: Sandstorm)

    Rate & Review.

Thanks to Water Pokemon Master from www.pokebeach.com for the scan.

Hmm, I get some say over how I like everyone damaged with the second, and I can KO the enemy on the cheap. Unfortunately, it's not too hard to liken Judgment to Base Gastly's Destiny Bond, which depends on the situation and can be averted easily by just not attacking that turn; you must have quite a bit of insurance on Dusclops to attempt flipping heads on both coins (considering the so-so 70 HP). The only practical power here lies in Random Curse.

    6/10

...I thought we were focusing on E-sets and back? W/e.

So-so Pokemon. Average bottom stats, below-average HP, but the attacks...only needing one Psychic and either one or two wildcards...yet another card for the rainbow deck.

And the attacks are okay, but excellent if you're lucky with the coin. Two heads isn't that rare (25%), so you might be looking at an easy Prize or two.

I don't feel like reviewing this card in much detail, so I'll keep it short.

Dusclops: Average HP. Good resistance. Average retreat. Worst weakness possible for Unlimited ([D] = Sneaseltastic, the most popular attacker).

Judgement= 25% chance of KOing anything. If you were bored and had multiple turns of this active, you would eventually get there. But usually you won't. Its HP isn't high enough to keep it out waiting for 2 heads.
Randomn curse= quite good. Bypasses Metal energy and [P] resistance. 50 is a solid amount of damage for a stage 1, but its not something that can stop your opponent. For 3 energy (despite DCE working) its fine, but not good enough. It is also highly ERable.

Its basic pre evo is often pants and easily KOable as well. In short, average attacks, standard stats, horrible weakness. Doesn't make it a card that has much chance in unlimited.

    Unlimited rating = 4.5/10

I'm doing old sets. This includes the first 3 EX sets.

Hey, while you're here, how about breaking tradition and actually RATING THE CARD?

I remember in the RS-on days when I used a Dusclops/Rare Candy/Wally/DRE deck and cheating on the coin flip by spinning the 6-sided dice on 1 corner :D

    11/10

This card is quite good. 7/10

If you haven't found the third energy, then you could attack with Judgment, and although it's a risk, if you pulled it off, you could be able to take a Pokemon EX out in one turn. That is, however, if you don't retreat.

Randm Curse is very good for taking out two or three, as of yet. unevolved Pokemon on the bench. This probably is more of a supporter, but it's good, none-the-less

WTF? It only damages the DEFENDING pokemons - ACTIVE ones not ones on the bench!

OK, I used to love this card - because I'm good with my coin flipping and I once instant-KO'ed 2 Whailord ex's in a row, and my opponent simply forfeited the match - it was in an Auckland Cities Semi-Final.

Anyway, Judgment is your main bet on this card - Random Curse is all right as an annoyer in 2v2 but kind of worthless in 1v1, but 50 consistent damage is still good.

If you're good with your coins: ∞/10
    If you're not: 5/10

Oh, woops, I didn't realise that. Then yes, it's more of a luck card, so my rating goes down to 5/10

Hey, if you have an issue with me, don't make it public. PMing me would be the mature thing to do rather than SPAM this thread with off-topic questions.

But i'm game. I'll answer your question.

You see, as the moderator, I choose not to rate the cards because I feel that it is not my job. I post the cards for your enjoyment so you can have a say at what you like or dislike about the card. I post the cards, and you rate them. I just don't feel obligated to rate them. Besides, I'm a terrible rater and I might get berated by others about how my opinion is wrong and stuff. I do something nice for you guys almost everyday and NOW you ask a question about why I don't rate? I'm just here to make sure none of you break the rules and to keep things neat and tidy.

    Happy?

Now can we please stay on topic?

...I don't have an issue with you personally, really...I just wanted to know why you never rated the cards. And I actually DID ask once or twice before, but got no answer from you (perhaps you really weren't listening, hehe), so thanks for actually answering me this time.

    But, enough with the off-topicness.

I forgot to put ratings before, so

    Good with coins: 200/10
Bad with coins: 6/10 (hey, a splitable 50 damage for 3 energy isn't that bad for a stage 1)

    (...SPAM!?? What??)
