25 character error?

Okay, I was posting this in the DCC. I know the post is 25 characters, sothat isn't it. Then I figured out that I forgot the "]" in the code. So it stopped me from posting. o_o;

Please tell me why this is happening. I'm not complaining, but it is curious to me. Here is a screen of it:

Because the forums doesn't count characters inside the [ & ] tags when it thinks they belong to a BB-Code.
