4th Gen 3rd Gym, flying pokemon

Hi all, I'm just heading to the 3rd gym atm to hopefully get FLY

But the only Pokemon can has wings I have court is a cr@p Staravia.

Where can i get a good flying type this early in the game?

staravia is the REAL only good flying type except for vespqiuen.

And staravia is reasonably good in game, you may as well use it.

Wait till Staraptor you will *$*& yourself with excitment.

For the record, Staraptor is one of the strongest Pokes in the early game- with a 120 Base Atk, and access to Close Combat and Brave Bird, he can kill just about anything up to the Elite Four. Stick with him.

Indeed. Be patient until Staraptor. It can outrun a number of Pokemon and then sweep the field with an attacking move. 120 Attack + 100 Speed is nothing to be ashamed about.

The easiest way to get a different flying Pokémon early in-game, is to get a friend that is ahead of you in the game to trade you.

It shouldn't be that hard but Staravia/Staraptor does have poor defense ans sp. defense so you better do it quickly

Murkrow is also an option. Honchkrow has great attacking stats
But somehow, 70 Speed and 50 Def and SD is not a very good combination...

Staraptor is a good poke to keep. it can stand up to the last 2 gyms, which are the types
its weak to.

Staraptor cant really stand up to the last gym. But it can stand up a little to Candice though.
