I don't see why they would show they movie on Kids WB 2 weeks before it comes out on video. O_o That just makes no sense. I mean, people will just record it, and then the video sales will drop rapidly.
With regarding to the video itself, I can't wait to see it. I've been waiting (probably like a lot of others here :P) ever since it was announced to come out in Japan all those months ago. I hope it's not completely weird like Miramax has done to almost all the other movies made by them. But still, I want to see the movie anyway. :P

Are you sure it's airing before they release the video/DVD version? Wouldn't it be the other way around?
As far as the release date, it's old news, but thanks for the heads up. I did hear that it's not the best movie anyway, but it's nice to have an official release date nonetheless.

I am going to tape the seventh movie and edit out the commercials. Cool way to get a movie two weeks before it comes out for free. I am going to be wacthing it and rewacthing probely with my little sister. We both cannot wait to see it. I hope it is a good movie. I really like the sci-fi element in the storyline. But i do think it is kind of silly becuase the dvd sales will drop becuase pople like me will just tpe it.

WTF?!? They're AIRING the movie BEFORE releasing on DVD/VHS?!? If they're not also airing it HD then there's no point of me watching it. I rather buy the DVD because that's what DVD are for.
In any case I learn about the relase date yesterday in my Nintendo Power Magazine in the PokeCenter section. It shows a poster with the release date. Miramax again is releasing the video. They're not the one editing the video storyline wise. So get your facts straight people.

The bigger question is..
Why the hell is KidsWB going to air a huge spoiler of a movie showing Pok?mon that have yet to be captured or evolved in the dub? o_O
Meh, I'm waiting for my Japanese DVD to come in. I'd rather get the original, widescreen version that see a fullscreen, edited movie. Especially the KWB version which is sure to have LOTS of commercials.

It's already been confirmed by those who saw the DVD at the Pok?mon Center in NYC that it's not.

thing is that they won't show the short movie. (but who cares about that.)

Er, why would the Pokemon Center @ NYC have the DVD when it's not for sale until February 15? If it's for "display" then that's a first because I never seen a movie DVD/VHS display. I only see them for video games.Elite Trainer Raven said:

New York had played the movie only two times, much before the VHS/DVD release. Once at a con last November/December and another at the NYPC.
From what I hear, they included a dub of the short Pikachu movie that was recently played on ANA airlines with this movie's dub.

Wouldn't Miramax complain about it? Because what KidsWB is doing will definately affect the VHS/DVD sales. Unless... KidsWB isn't going to air the entire movie.

Quite sure KidsWB got the rights to air it. Not many people own VCRs anymore, so they're gonna wanna get the DVDs. Or if they just happen to miss it, they'll get whichever version they can.
