Hello everyone. I see most of you seem very excited about the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl in the near future. I would like to be the first to say this:

For those who want a better game experience and not to SPOIL THE GAME for yourself, STAY AWAY from Pokemon news sites and discussions on newly revealed Pokemon. If you HAVE to go to serebii or any other site, DO NOT click on the 4th Generation page because you'll see all the Pokemon and will spoil the game. Hell, even maps can spoil your game experience.

I am not going to get either game (I don't have a DS) so I am being of a third-party viewpoint here. I wish everyone happy Pokemon-ing and please, if you don't want to spoil the game, stay away from any Pokemon sites (or any of the threads in here about new pokemon).

    Thanks and good luck

I dont HAVE 100 bucks. They're about $150 AUD - which I am well short of.

That doesn't spoil your game, it enhances it so you can see what new pokemon you want.

I'm with him. How will knowing what pokemon will be in the game spoil it? It's not like it's a major plot point, like finding out the end to a movie.

Since when do the Pokemon games have plots?

Not for me! I like looking at the new pokemon. And you are pritty much saying don't go on these forums and sites. Well that is how it sounds to me mate! But i think if you know some of the pokemon then you will look out for them and see how good they are! While comming across new ones and thinking "that looks cool" or "what the hell is that!?" (the new cat i am refering to the new cat)

It's your own personal oppinion if you think it's a spoiler but I like seeing the latest info and the story is the same as in all the other poke games, get badges defeat E4 then it's just playing online and stuff.

I personally want to know what to expect when I get Diamond or Pearl.

I do want to see the new pokemon. hopefully they'll have an internet pokedex before I buy the game so I can plan my team and see which pokemon is on which version.

I review the game first before buying it. I dont go out like other people and get the game because its popular!

Sounds to me like you're telling us to stay away from this site, to which I say to mind your own business. Some people want spoilers. Also, it seems like COMMON SENSE that spoilers would be on a news site, and you feeling the need to point it out is an insult to the intellligence of everyone here. Oh, and saying that you're a third-person viewer just makes your point worth less with no experience on which to base your argument.

Oh, and please at least don't make words up (POKEMONING???).

Im with what the general posters say here. It almost seems to me as though Pokemon should be spoiler-ready or that its meant to be spoiled so others can know what to expect in terms of Pokemon strengths, weaknesses, new Pokemon and such. Then again, there are those who want to play it and find out everything themselves and not have to worry about "oh, this happens after I beat <insert gym leader here> so I should plan my team like this" or whatever.

So I see both sides of the issue...yet, I cant help but spoil myself, I truly want to know what the storyline in the game is and the new pocket monsters.

That is the drawback of owning a larger Pokemon site =[

I kinda feel like it is ruining for me, but I totally agree don't click it unless you want to know. Anyone who does want to know now, will just regret it later on.

This thread was a real waste. How dare you basically call us dumb. We know what would be on a news site, hence the word "news". The [IMPORTANT] part of the title sort of disproves itself if you know what I mean. People will check out the new Pokemon info if they feel like it and if they don't then they won't. End of story.

Sorry to sound blunt but it's the truth.

I agree with this. Let people see the information they want to see. If they get the game and complain that they were spoiled to badly then its there problem not yoursa or anyone elses

What he is saying is partly true, if you want a surprise when they realease the games, don't go to imformation sites.
