A Bit of Confusion

I'd just like to get something straight.

I tried downloading Windows Defender but it said I needed Service Pack 2. I using Windows Updates to get Service Pack 3. I will be able to use Windows Defender still right?

Yes, you still should be able to use it. Microsoft may be bad, but it won't deny you use of a system like Windows Defender if you load an updated Service Pack. Or that's just me.

I'm really confused... Is there actually something called Service Pack 3? I downloaded it and installed it then restrated my computer but it still said I was using Service Pack 1. >_<

Anyway, I just found Service Pack 2 just a few minutes ago. *is downloading it*
