A blonde walks into a bar... (combined hairstyle thread)

HAR HAR! I knew the ending of that joke before viewing the topic!

I've never dyed my hair before and why would I want to? I have sexy jet black hair of pure awesomeness.

With dark brown hair, I've only opted for adding streaks.
Man spelling blond (freaky E...).

Had my hair bleached if it counts.

:c I usually have my hair dyed blue.. but I've had to switch hairdressers when moving, and had it done blue this time (had it done today actually) but they completely messed it up. I'm really really upset and they're said they'd redo it free of charge tomorrow.. but I'm still upset in the first place.. :/

I feel like I should cut and dye it myself from now on or something.. because trying to find somewhere that does a good job is so damn frustrating..

Edit: Didn't trust them to redo it, got all my money refunded, going to fix it myself and cut it myself >_> I know I can do a better job than them.

Never done anything with my hair before. Ever.
I am actually blonde, but I find all the blonde jokes super funny. If I'll ever do anything w/ my hair, I'll probably get bangs this summer. <3

Not sure why people feel the need to dye their hair all the time.

I only dyed my hair once because my hair is near black and if I'd want to dye it I'd have to bleach it first which I don't want, so yeah I dyed my hair black once but so it wasn't very noticeable XD

Nah, but it did get lightened.

If I did, I'd dye it to a lighter brown. Nothing too drastic.

Back when I was in college, I dyed my hair auburn. I didn't do it professionally, just bought the box kits. I'd do it now, but you have to do it constantly, and it's a pain in the ass. And the red fades so quickly. So I don't do it anymore. Last time I dyed my hair was like 2 years ago now I think?

I'd like to do some funky color like pink or purple sometime, but where I work, I can't do any weird colors. Oh well.

I dyed a streak of it purple once and since my hair is dark I had to bleach it and I hated how that piece of hair turned out from the bleaching and since then I have no plans to dye it any lighter than it is. If I ever decide to dye the whole thing I'll probably either go black or brownish/red.

And lose the marvel, arcane and contrast evident of my atramentous hair? Fie! I wouldn't consider it! /strokes hair.

But how hypocritical it is of me to be fond of those who do shade their hair in the most rebellious of shades, for cause and for Heidi with blue hair.

I dyed my hair red in primary school for a charity event, but that's been my only experience with the topic. Nearly everyone else in my class was doing it on that particular, so I didn't feel out of place at all. Indeed, it washed out that night, leaving only a hint of it for the next few days. I have no real plans to dye it in the future: I'm perfectly content with my natural hair colour and have no real desire to change it.

My natural color is a medium brown, but I was red most of high school and blonde my first semester of college. Both times I had my hair dyed, people thought it was my natural color. Red fades quick, but fades really well into my hair so it looked natural. As for blonde, it's really hard to keep up and I don't understand how people could have ever thought it was natural lol. Unlike red, I had to go to a hair salon to get it dyed instead of my mom buying me a Loreal dye or something and doing it at home. It got tedious and expensive, and it was hard going from red to blonde as well. Going back wasn't cheap either, so I'm never gonna bother with it again.

I have an app on my phone where I can change my hair color to any color I want just about, and I quite like my hair in teal! lol It's a bit too late for me to do any crazy colors unfortunately. My high school didn't allow for it and now I have a job that probably wouldn't like it either, considering our customers are...old people lol. And I don't think it would look good for my education classes to have teal hair. So...yeah, not even a little summer hair dye fun for me. :( LIFE IS OVER. But yeah...I'm back to my natural color now and idk if I'll bother dying it again. At least not soon.

I've only died by hair a few times, about 2-3 I think. I changed it from my natural colour, light brown, to dark brown. Not exactly the biggest change in hair colour but I dislike light brown hair on me. It turned out... well, although I died it wrong the first time and it was still all light brown underneath ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it turned out better the next time though. No one was really bothered by it, there was this one girl in my science class who thought it was stupid that boys dyed their hair. But no one really took notice because she's creepy.

Well, I'd say I dyed my hair, but it was only really suppose to be coloured for a bit. I used some of that blue spray hair colourant stuff and since I have blond hair it decided it wasn't going to wash out, so I had blue streaks in my hair for about a week until I went back to school and I had to cut it out because the school wouldn't allow bright coloured hair.
I would dye it again if I had the chance though, I've always wondered what I'd look like with brown hair.

I've highlighted my hair a bunch of different shades of red and blonde, but I've only dyed my hair once. My freshman year of high school I dyed my hair light brown with blonde highlights and I'm never doing it again. My natural hair color is super dark brown/almost black and it hurts SO bad to dye my hair; not to mention, if I even want a chance of going lighter I have to bleach my hair and that can take years to grow out.

So I've only dyed it once. I'm happy with my hair color, that's what years of messing around with it has taught me :)

I haven't actually dyed my hair, however I would like to. I have medium-long black hair, and I would like to bleach blonde streaks into there. Maybe I would also dye those blond streaks pink. I was planning on bleaching the whole head, but no. I haven't actually done anything, though.

Other than dying my hair green for not even 24 hours as part of a charity thing when I was a kid (I cannot for the life of me remember just what charity event it was, probably something to do with St Patricks Day or lyme disease), I don't dare to change anything about the colour of my hair, I'd look terrible if I did otherwise. I used to be platinum blonde as a kid, with billions of curls, but as I grew up, it eventually become sandy brown with the curls only lining up around the edges of my hair and it becoming a god-knows-what sort of hairstyle in the middle. Really, my hair would look even more horrible if it were to be changed to any other colour apart from the brown it is. So, no touchy touchy!

I've never dyed my hair but I've always wanted to get highlights of a lighter brown of some sort. My parents are convinced I'll get an allergic reaction so they've never let me ;-;
