A Fast Pokemon or a Strong Pokemon?

    fast pokemon are more useful in my opinion. just the ability to strike before the oppenent puts you at an early advantage. and you can use faster attack, defense, and recovery combos
     
    Strong Pokemon can be good in some cases and so can speedy Pokemon. It just all depends on what Pokemon it is. A Snorlax wouldn't be the Pokemon you'd try to make speedy.
     
    i agree. snorlax is more of an endurance/attack pokemon.....but crobat is an attack/speed pokemon both are good on a team though
     
    Lol. I love CB Crobat. Its speedy and kicks hard. I teach mine Sludge Bomb/Aeriel Ace/Return/Shadow Ball.

    If you NetBattle, then you'll learn that Speed makes a great difference. Just look at Alakazam. If you can outspeed Alakazam, you can OHKO it. If you can't, then it might OHKO you. Speed makes all the difference.

    Toxicstall became so OU that NetBattlers learned how to counter it, which is by switching out. A Cleric Blissey stops Toxicstallers in their tracks.

    Good def and good attack is nice, good speed and good attack is also nice....but, I'd pick speed because it psuedo boosts all the rest of your stats.
     
    I agree with Husk. In some cases with Pokemon like Alakazam and Sceptile, Speed makes all the difference.
     
    It'd have to be speed, since Offense can be walled.

    Though Defense needs to be an option of opinion.
     
    That's why Speed is so important in NetBattle.
     
    You actually need a balanced team, you can't just get pokemons that are fast, but that get walled easily. You can't have slow pokemons, remember the one who hits first, hits twice </wtf>.
     
    jc u just misunderstood the whole concept and confused the hell outta me at the same time.
     
    Pokemon with bad Speed aren't necessarily bad sweepers as long as they have the defences to compensate for the lack of Speed.

    Powerful and fast pokemon exist in one aka Mence, Aerodactyl, Raikou etc
