A Metroid Movie?!

I was reading in my latest issue of EGM that John Woo has "recently optioned Nintendo's Metroid franchise for a big budget motion picture"... He hopes the film will be released before 2006. I hope Mr. Woo pulls this off okay. I am greatly excited at the thought of a Metroid movie. :D

They better have a multi trillion dollar budget on it otherwise it's just gonna suck...

No kidding. I will say though, I had my doubts about the LOTR trilogy, but it turned out better than expected for me. Of course Peter Jackson & John Woo are two very different people...

I heard of this. I cant wait till more information is realeased though. But live action!? Metroid would make a better anime movie. But I'm a Metroid fan so Im still excited.

W00t! A Metroid movie! I wonder when the setting of the plot takes place... I hope it comes out great because I've been a Metroid fan ever since I played the orignal Metroid on NES, and beat it with the ending where you see Samus without her suit. ;)
