A new experience, a new e-life..new friends?

Well now..hello everyone. I looked through the rules (all seem very fair and justified) and I must say, I'm impressed by the infraction system and the thought that was taken to put it all into place. I am always hesitant to join a forum, because some communities tend to have "cliques", and usually are harsh to the newbies. That doesn't seem to be the case here, and I am glad. It is good to know that everyone is treated equally here. I will do my best to be an active contributing member of the PC community (provided I can overcome this intense nervousness of being the "new guy" ^^; )

I browsed through some threads and I have to say, the community appears quiet friendly at first glance! I hope to fit in here and maybe even make some friends. ^_^

A little about me...

I am new to the world of Pokémon and have been playing around..2 months or so. I always wondered what the hype was all about, so I decided to pick up an NDS (and PKMN Black) and give it a go. I am very pleased with the game so far, because it contains many interesting Pokémon, as well as simple yet complicated mechanics. I only have 4 badges so far, and am taking my time to not leave anything behind. The breeding aspect especially caught my interest, because it allows one to make a particular Pokémon more powerful than their wild counterparts. I spent a good amount of time raising my little Level 1 Petilil into a powerful and beautiful Lilligant. ^_^

I LOVE to collect things, so Pokémon is a perfect way to sate my interests for the time being. I am happy to see that a new Pokémon game is already almost here! After that, I will have four other generations to enjoy. I hope they are all as fun as the 5th!

I have an interest in other video games as well, especially RPGs. I occasionally watch anime (though I haven't watched the Pokémon anime yet) and browse for anime (manga) style art. I'm always looking for a new fun online game to play (and new friends to play with), so if you know a good game to check out please let me know. ;)

Welcome to PC ^_^! We have all sorts of things you can do here, whether its gaming other than pokemon in Other Clubs or its getting your team ready for battling, you have tons to do and talk about here :D Hope you have a great time!

I have played a lot of the FF games, most recently FF13. ^^ I like FF7 best, the characters were very memorable.

FF7 serves as the last FF game I've played. I never really got attached to the others and never bothered. The death scene of that one girl was epic...strange to say that about someone dying.

Welcome, and don't worry about being the new guy; there's a newer one somewhere already! I just joined today, myself! If you're ever looking to hook up to trade or need advice, I've seen almost all of the Unova Pokémon and hope to finish "catching 'em all" with a few trades soon. :)

I'd have to agree that FF7 is the only one I was attached to as well. Where's the best place for a new person to hang out and get to know people on here? I noticed the PC Adoption Center, I may try that out if someone is available! :)
