Just ___ kids.
We were just ___ (number) kids, walking home together. But then... the unspeakable happened.
We were walking across the road, talking about everything: school, life, homework and so on; when a truck came speeding by. The truckdriver didnt see us untill we were only a few feet away, and tryed to swerve.
He failed.
The six kids came out alright, even though they were in comas for weeks. But what they didnt tell anyone, not even eachother, is what happened during those comas.
The first one was so brave enought to write it down. His name is Kevin. He wrote down the events that happened. It is as followes:
"Me and my friends were just walking home, when suddenly, a truck came speeding towrard us. We had no idea what to do, and we all just frose.
But i sware, it never touched us. Before it could, i seemed to wake up. But not in a hospital bed; no, but on the hard ground, with my ____ friends. And in a forest. Now, it would seem odd enough that we were in a forest, but... as my friend ____ pointed out, the constilations were... different. Seemed that we were not even on our own earth; or mabe in a different time.
We soon found ourselves in a new world with new continets; who seemed to be in the iorn age. Swords, bows, arrows, wars, and kings were still commen. At first, we were very confused. But soon we saw our destiny: to fight the evil king that was planning on dommination of the new world.
Together, we had the skills to turn the tides with our superior intelect, and did so. We won. But then, just as we were honnored the metal of the king, we suddenly woke up in our beds in the hospital.
Although none of my friends remeber it; or perhaps they do not want to talk about it, this happened. Now that you have seen my overvew, allow me to go into a detailed story; beggining here, on the normal walk home from school to turn into a disaster..."
OK here are the characters:
Kevin (me) the Archer: Natonal Archer champion for his group age. His skills as an archer came in handy when dealing with then enimy.
Kiri the Fencer: Natonal Fencing champion for her group age. She is skilled with many swords and helped to defeat many enimey.
___ the World Language major: Very intelligent kid who knows most major languages of Earth (as this new world shares a language). He/she is very good with dealing with people with his mind rather than with a sword.
___ the Horseback Rider: A skilled horseback rider and animal trainer. His/her abilities to calm animals, as well as to train and ride them, come in handy.
