    so my cat decided to do something she's never done before: jump on the table that my monitor was on while i was sleeping. so the monitor(lg flatron w1952tq-tf) i was many using now shows everything in blue, so i swapped out with the inferior dell 1702FP rev Ao1 that i kept as a back up after i salvaged it from someones trash can & tested it to see if it worked.
    so everythings working great except the text font is now pixelated everywhere. i also refuse to alter my screen resolution from 1280x740 so the only thing left is to mess with the text fonts in start>control panel>display>appearance>advanced. so the question is, which font should i use at what size?
     
    i can only go up to 1280x800, everything I've found states the greatest res is [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]1280 x 1024 and anytime i change it to [/FONT]1280x800 a portion of the desktop go's off-screen.
    i can't use any of the stuff like looking at the display either because I'm currently forced into using this monitor as a clone display. i get so used to calling it a pc that i forgot to mention i'm using a laptop with a busted screen as a computer case/tower with a black box on the screen to prevent the constant flickering to be seen. anyway my screen resolution choices are kind of minimal

    knocking it up a notch did enhance things but it's still seems to be a problem with the fonts
    they still seem kinda pixelated to me everywhere there's text online
    either way, screenshots do not work when explaining that part

    You should go to your Display settings and under Appearance and Themes, click on Effects and enable ClearType. Then in your video adapter songs, go to the TV/monitor settings to make sure that nothing is being cropped.

    everything my pc looks back to normalish to me. you can lock the thread. your mentioning native scvreen resolution & then after typing out that post lead me to go looking around in effects & solve the issue
