    You know, I'm totally up for this if it's going to help make things easier. Always having to go in Advanced Search was quite a pain, so simplifying the process will definitely help those who use it.

    The feature does already exist within the Advanced Search parameters, however I'd be up for adding it to the quick search as well, if it isn't too much of a clutter to the dropdown.
     
    I search for certain users occasionally and going to the "Advanced Search" area just to search for a user seems to be a little much so I like this idea. The idea that King has with the search looks very nice and clean so I'd be more than happy for it to look that way.
     
    I am more likely to search for a user than I am to search for a keyword, so I'm totally on board with this.
     
    going into advanced options can be tedious, even if only a couple of extra steps, so i agree with the OP
     
    I tend to search more for users than specific posts, so I would like to see this happen since it is very tedious to keep going into advanced search.
