Adding a Volume Controller to the options menu?

Have a look at how the existing Options menu options work, and learn. You won't succeed in your endeavours if you don't try to do anything yourself. It won't be easy, but it's possible, so don't give up.

While I agree that you should take the time to study that script and figure it out—it's always very rewarding when coding issues and new scripts finally fall into place!—I just thought I'd mention that while you're working on this, if your friends are really hurting for volume control and are playing your game on a relatively recent version of Windows, they can use the detailed volume mixer in their taskbar/system tray to adjust your game's volume or the volume of anything else that might be playing sound on their PC.

Definitely do share if you figure this out—I'm sure there are several others who would find it convenient to have this directly built into their games as well.
