Rumors abound that Eidolon Forest is the final of the "Advanced Generation" sets, before Diamond and Pearl is released (although I doubt it, since those two games won't be out until next year). This got me thinking... what sets should be (or if this is indeed the final set, should have been) introduced into the Advanced Generation sets?
I've come up with the following:
-A set showcasing "Light" Pokemon. The last time was saw any was what, in the Neo Generation sets? Light Pokemon need a comeback, especially with the recent release of many "less-than-good" Pokemon (Magma/Aqua/Rocket/Dark).
-A proper Gym set. We haven't seen Gym Leader-based Pokemon in an actual set since Vs. Maybe they'll have the R/S/E leaders in the main set, then the FR/LG ones in a subset (much like how the Rocket set was a subset in Japan).
-An anime-based set. Some promos, and the half-decks have Pokemon and characters from the anime, so why not just bust out a complete set based on it? Imagine unloading a Satoshi no Pikachuu or something like that on your opponent. It could also include cards for the first 4 movies (which did not see half-deck releases).
