Adventures/ Special-like Finale

    Okay, for anyone who's read the manga version of Pokemon, do you remember the finale of the RGBY chapters when the four main characters teamed up with Team Rocket to defeat the Elite Four (yes, they're evil in the manga - please refrain from asking questions in this thread and go ask them here instead)? Well, I was thinking, what if something similar happened at the end of the anime, but with the Elite Four teaming up with some main characters to defeat Team Rocket instead of vice versa. Here's what I'm thinking:

    Ash and Lance vs. Giovanni
    Shuu and Bruno vs. Tyson (Lance did say that he was an Elite Rocket in the original version, right?)
    Casey and Prima vs. The Black Tulip/ Domino/ 009
    Someone and Agatha vs. Sebastian (with his team of genetically manipulated pokemon)

    Now the question is, with Gary out of the picture (come on folks, his voice actor quit and the Japanese don't usually replace voice actors with Yu-gi-oh being the only exception I konw of. And besides, if they were planning on brining him back, why would they give such a grand finale to a secondary character?), who teams up with Agatha? Or would you team them up differently? Or have different opponents?

    EDIT: No replies? I thought that this place would have had some people interested in my theory since it has more manga fans than any other messageboard I've seen *cries*.

    Actually, your theory sounds pretty okay, and could happen. You never know. As for the character teaming up with Agatha.. Maybe Hiroshi or someone? XD

    And what DID happen to Gary/Shigeru in the anime? Why isn't he in the Houen series? >.<; Other than the voice actor thing. They could get a new one.. I mean, in the earlier episodes, Ash had a squeeky voice, but now he's actually got a non-annoying-to-much voice.. Gary could get a new voice. >.>; Or, Yuuki could replace him! :)
     
    ...no replies since this thread doesn't look tame...

    I guess a Special finale would suit the anime... but looks like the fillers have marred the whole essence of anime. A final battle with the antagonist would mean absolutely nothing to the major viewers in America (kids ages 0-8). But that would make a major impac in the Pokemon world...but we'll know that the manga was the one that influenced the anime several, several times...
     
    gary should get a new voice...=-=;;; that's weird how they don't replace voice actors, maybe the voice actor got pissed cause he didn't get to talk much. cause gary is only in a few episodes.
