The Starter/non rare pokes (treecko, Taillow, Zigzagoon, Etc.) consume less exp and lvl up quicker than the rare ones (dratini, larvitar, Bagon, Etc.) that consume all the exp and take forever to get to the "Powerhouse" stage!

There are different experiences needed for different Pokemon to get to lvl 100. Should we be surprised that Breloom takes the most experience to lvl up out of all other Pokemon? (well there are a few others tie with Breloom needed the equal amount of experiences)

and that really doesn't matter if you use the EV Training Method with rare candy...

Even with Pick Up, obtaining the right number of Rare Candies in order to level up to 100 for your whole team is going to take an age. I barely got 20 whilst EV training two members of my team. :/

But yeah, it's not always most powerful = more experience and vice versa. Swalot takes a ton of Exp, and he's hardly an uber, while Grumpig levels up really quickly and isn't really a weakling.

Which is why the Gameshark and Action Replay were invented.

Or Blissey, who only needs 800,000XP to be 100.

    oh! cool! didn't kno that
