Thread title was inspired by my quirky little friend and my favorite Scott Brown song x3 But, any-who! I've noticed the many times that I've revisited a thread simply because I made it or put some kind of effort into it. I mostly do this as a form of feedback. I want to know how others responded and want to make sure that I didn't break anything (rules included) ;.; How important is feedback to you? How important is it to see the reactions of others to your statement? Does it help you? Hurt you? Why do you like the feedback? Or is it not important to you because you can carry on your own without being bothered by the opinions of others x3

And yes... I made two threads here today because the ideas came to me :3

It's only important to me when I asked a question because I need to know the answer to it of course

How important is it to see the reactions of others to your statement?
Personally it doesn't matter how someone takes my statement because I know that everyone is entitled to their opinions and if they feel the need to correct my statement or opinion, it really doesn't bother me.

Does it help you? Hurt you?
It does neither. I guess I am neutral about the feedback I get unless if it is a question I asked

Why do you like the feedback?
Because I want my question to be answered

Feedback is important to me in certain situations, mainly when it comes to art, seeing as receiving constructive feedback is an excellent way to improve. Feedback can be hurtful sometimes, but overall it's helpful.

There are certain situations where feedback doesn't matter to me though. There are certain people, quite a few on PC even, that completely disregard other's opinions and think they're automatically right, hahaha. It's unfortunate, but oh well, being stubborn with an opinion will only get you so far. I just ignore it and continue discussing it with the people that actually give meaningful feedback.

I consider feedback important because I want to find out how to improve my technique. But I tend to have a hard time accepting feedback at times because I feel that my work is fine as it is.

I'm quite self conscious so feedback is fairly important to me xD; I hate criticisms a looott, even though I know they could be quite helpful sometimes haha D:

I know feedback is very important if I ever want to improve. I'll take it and improve if it's given to me. However, I also don't take criticism very well if it's something I hold dear. It's a really awful situation. >_< Even at work sometimes I'll get slightly bummed when I'm criticized. At that point I'm just like WTF?

This is why I don't post my writing anywhere. Too thin-skinned for my own good. Until I know I'm not going to get defensive and cranky, I'm not showing it to anyone.

Feedback is awesome. But only if it is actually constructive. Someone saying "I HATE YOUR WORK YOU SUCK" is hardly helpful, and is irritating. But "Your work sucks, here are some things I think you could improve on..." is great since someone is taking the time to help me improve.
