what's the big idea about american idol?
a bunch of folks picking people based on their looks and average voice, and then have america call in to vote for them.
then the stars sing only songs other people have written.

there is no talent or originalty involved here.
besides, has it occurred to anyone that singing is not the only musical thing?
how about writing & performing your own song?
or the judges have to be blindfolded while the auditions are going on.
that would make the show interesting.

corganzero I agree with you,also there only making a fool out of themselves.They need to call that show American Idiots.I only watched the last 4 epsiodes of it,and my favorite singer in there will have to be Taylor Hicks.I hav a poster of Taylor Hicks on my wall to stare at during the nights.I feel like I need to marry him,when I get older
