Angel Sanctuary

Anyone read it.....its quite a good manga. Its about a kid who has an angel inside him and his trying to protect his sister......(whom he likes....alot.....and she likes him too......alot)........from demons and various other things. At the same time a war between heaven and hell is about to arupt if the main character dies. Its not that confusing once you read it...... Im about to buy vol.3 so I dont know much about it. Also, this is intended for older teens (16+) so its not for little kids.... but its not all that bad.

Note:READ THIS MANGA IN ORDER! IF YOU DONT, YOU WONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! Enjoy :classic:

#4 is where it splits into different books.. ._. and no.. i dont mean actual books.. i mean like.. sections of events in the story..
like in Vol. 4, it goes into the Book of Hades
i dont want to spoil it for you..
._. all i'm saying is that it gets INSANELY confusing and i had to read it twice before i could understand whats going on @@

LOVE IT!!! Its my current favorite manga ><
I have vols 1-5, it's not all too bad as far as confuseing, it has a few biblical refrences, and stuff. meh... Gabriel is my fave, she hasnt showed up yet though, she's so pretty, Kira too, he's funny =p

I like the to *confused* demons! So far Im confused if the one demon likes Axiel or Setsuna....o well! I'll find out soon.

Kurai? s/he is in love with Alexiel, but falls for Setsuna too, since he is Alexiel... more or less.

Kurai is indeed a girl. But mentioned in volume 2 she seems to like Setsuna for who he is, not just that he is Alexiel. But Im not really sure yet. Kurai, in volume 2, hesitates to save Sara thinking that with her gone, he wont love anyone else. She quickly relizes that he would never love anyone again anyway. So that makes me belive that she does like Setsuna for who he is..... she still seems to like Alexiel too. Arachne is weird too.....

yeah I know, but Kurai is rather built up to be nether sex at times. in vol 2 the dragon Agate calls "her" sexless. Arachne is a very interesting charecter, who's true identety has a twist, he's not who you think he is way. ~_^
also at the start of chaper 2, the 2 demons who Arachne talks to are Kurai's twin siblings, and the male one has a crush on her XP

One of my bestfriends have LOTS of Angel Sanctuary volumes.

I find the drawings awesome , but sadly i cant read it , they are in Italian i just understand half of it so really i cant enjoy it as likely i am supposed to enjoy.

yeah, with the whole "god is dead", sympathy for hell and incest thing, amazed me that it was even dubed. manga's way better though, the anime changeds and leaves stuff out, as always.

Ah yes, the sanctuary. I actually read volumes 1 and 2 in scrambled order, so I actually didn't know what was going on until volume 3. But I personally thought it wasn't THAT confusing...not like Evangelion anyway. lol

We shall all just leave this controversial manga alone in its place among the legends. :)

And yes, the OVA actually covered the first of the 6 arcs in the manga...and with the plotpretty different from the manga IMO. O_O
