4th Gen Any tips on catching Giratina? xD I need them.

Um...I put it to sleep and used a dusk ball and caught it the first try.

you want advice... Masterball.

Just throw Dusk Balls at it until you finally get it to stay in the ball. I've heard that some people switch between Timer Balls and Dusk Balls, but if you have a third Masterball just go ahead and use that.

i recommend buying up to 50 dusk balls. i tried quick and timer balls and ultra balls and i never caught it 2 rolls. i only got 3 rolls with dusk ball and caught with dusk ball.;

Hi!

My advice is:
- Use a Normal type Pkmn against it, which has some effective moves against Giratina
- Use MAAAANY Dusk Ball and If u cant get it after a long time, use the Timer Ball..

I caught it with Dusk Ball, but the Timer one's not bad ^^

Wish I helped ya

Bye

i got it down pretty low on health and then threw i think 3 ultra balls at it. it was so quick and easy. but i got a little scurrred at shadow force though. that's a freaky move

I used my Starapter which was areound lvl 57. Then, I just used Ultra balls and Dusk balls but what finally caught it was a timer ball so you might want to go with that.

timer balls never seem 2 work with legandaries. really what u should do is use da master ball cheat in da GBA series and transfer pokemon that r holding master balls. u can also do dis w/ rare candies and other rare items! ^_~*

A Normal/Flying like Staraptor is only affected by one of its attacks, Slash. So it's a good choice if its health is low and you want to start throwing balls.
I never even thought of catching it in a Dusk ball, I always use Quick balls, Timer balls, and normal kinds of Pokeballs. But it seems like that's probably the best idea.
