Are there any IPs you'd like to see Pokémon have a crossover with?

Pretend you're a higher-up at TPCi and can now choose a series for Pokémon to cross over with in the future. This crossover can be for any aspect of the series - anime, games, manga, etc. What kind of crossover do you think would be interesting to see?

jokes aside, I always wondered what a pokemon game developed by Rockstar would look like.

A company known for extremely slow releases but an insanely high quality output when it's products do come out.

I'd like a crossover with Palworld, because that would be a universally loved and non-controversial decision!

Jokes aside, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a crossover with another mon-catching/collecting franchise. I think an anime episode crossover with Digimon or Yokai Watch would be fun.

I agree that a collab with Digimon is certainly one that I would also be excited for and would undoubtedly make waves. Although a lot of people would probably have too high expectations and feel underwhelmed and disappointed...whatever they did.

The only logical one right now is probably Project Sekai because of Project Voltage ngl. The music would be added to the game and that's probably all. I don't see a full crossover for anything else ever being a thing.

Given Nintendo's history, I do not trust them to respect the fan base of whoever they crossover with in terms of copyright.

A crossover with Final Fantasy would be very interesting.
Given that some Final Fantasy names are shared across all iterations, certain legendaries can also be known as the various summons, and this can be a key plot point.
For example, you'd go into a town hearing of the fearsome Bismarck and it turns out this is another name for Kyogre. (Titan can be Groudon, Ifrit can be Reshiram, The Magus Sisters can be the Lake Trio, etc.)

I am not particularly a fan of crossovers, but adding Pokemon to any sort of game that's designed for crossovers from the ground up wouldn't hurt. It worked well in Smash Bros, for example, and I happen to be a lifelong Pikachu main in that series.

Back then, I loved the idea of Pokemon working with Final Fantasy - certain classes having certain Pokemon, and you and your sole signature Pokemon teaming up with others and their sole signature Pokemon. You and your Pokemon also fighting side-by-side together. This can also fit with Dynasty Warriors/Warriors Orochi/Samurai Warriors (I know Pokemon Conquest crossed over with Nobunaga's Conquest so it can happen).

Nowadays, I do like the idea of Pokemon with Honkai: Star Rail (namely, because of the fun space train aspect travelling to other places) but I'm not sure how that'll work. I can see how certain Pokemon could fit in it like some of the legendaries being signatures of the Aeons, or something similar to Pokemon Masters Ex, I suppose. Same with Ash Echoes, although that'd be trickier since that is about different dimensions coming into one world (some characters even having different versions of themselves canonically showing up).

Palkémon is just the Thing that Must Happen. The more if during the crossover certain """allegedly patented""" mechanics have to be (re)introduced. 11/10 no notes.

I could totally see this working. Pokévillagers working on a wild town near a human's Secret Base.

On my end, there's two (not mentioning Final Fantasy because that was already done).

I'd love to see Pokémon × The Witcher (but I don't *expect* it to happen lol). Geralt already has some misfortunes travelling to other franchises, as does another highly relevant character, so they already can be functionally Fallers; there was back in the day pretty good fanwork of Geralt getting a monstie from Monster Hunter, and it would be fun to see the resulting antics when the characters from The Witcher have to interact with people who have a much healthier relationship with the charismatic megafauna of their world than they do (you can't argue that Griffins and Trolls aren't cute, come on). Plus it would be a nice way for Pokémon to help catch up with the growing up and maturing of their demographic if they can keep focus on the strong story and the effects of diverging choices instead of simply making it "unicorn Rapidash sex and gore collectibles".

Similarly, Pokémon × M:tG on the side of the card game and designing lore would be interesting, if it somehow does not exist already.

I don't see a full game/anime happening with it, but it'd be pretty cool to see them at least make an official Digimon card(s) of Porygon/Porygon2/Porygon-Z, seeing as those are, more or less, Digital Monsters.

Next to that, maybe some Pokémon x Zelda stuff? Outside of Smash Bros. ofc, and not just Easter eggs.

Believe it or not, this one's happened already (not the straw hat crew as Pokémon, but One Piece x Pokémon in general).
