This is a pretty easy question, but i have to double check. if a pokemon's attack says it does 10 damage to two of your opponent benched pokemon, for example. Your opponite get's to pick unless it says choose who to attack, right?

yeah, either that or they're getting the game confused with "Magic: The Gathering". That's the only card game I know of where your opponent gets to choose your attack's target by default.
