Well we all know attract, makes the opposite gender. Less likely to attack. Plus it can create some nasty combos. Such as the ones in the topic title....

Wich do you think is better.

    Attract/Confuse Ray

Well there is the part where you are attrtacted then you cant attract. But when you get by that. Then you have to deal with the confusion and the possibility of hurting yourself

    Attract/Toxic

With attract/toxic. You are attracted and horribly poisoned. Then in love with the pokemon that poisoned you. So you are less likely to attack, while the poison that is on you is doubling in damage each turn.

To be honest, I think attract/toxic is better. But highly predictable and easy to avoid.

Attract/Toxic, if they dont have an antidote, they've lost.

And because I like how "Toxic Attraction" sounds.

I'd prefer Confuse Ray and Toxic. Attract only has a 50% chance of working at all. You also have obvious Pokemon such as Wailord, Starmie, and Magneton. Confuse Ray and Toxic are fun. I love using it on Umbreon even though its so OU.

Neither. Annoyance fails at the hands of switching..especially attract.

Well on another forum, I made this same topic....

This guy said he had a lapras with

    Body Slam
    COnfuse Ray
    Attract
    Whirlpool

Paratraction+confusion and no escape plus minimal damage each turn. I woulda never thought of that.

I presume thats GSC..unless lapras can get whirlpool via breeding..
Anyway, annoyance takes far longer to defeat ur opponent and there in lies its crappiness.
It was invented in GSC and it should die with GSC IMO.

Confuse ray is acceptable in some circumstances -

    Lapras[modest]@leftovers
    -sing
    -confuse ray
    -ice beam
    -thunderbolt

I rather rest over confuse ray though.

I sort of agree with Ice demon. The double stats infecting is proved to be unsuccessful. Imagine if you can use a Charizard and you waste 2 turns just for Attract and Toxic, while in those 2 turns you can Sword Dance 2 times and sweep. Toxic is successful on certain Pokemon like Meganium or Umbreon that serve as a wall. Attract should never be used though.
