Avatar Error

So ever since the update I haven't been able to upload any custome avatars.
Which is strange, because some other members can change theirs... ><;;

I was reading around and found out that it could fixed if my ID number was switched..?
How exactly does that work?
If I can do that, will I still have the same SN and post count, and everything?

I do wanna keep my username that I have now ... I'll give my new account some random name for now though..

xD the PMs being deleted wouldn't have bothered me really...but it IS neat that they stay.
