Ok well I was strolling through my Pokemon Box in Ruby when I realised I still had an egg in Box 4. Now when I put the little hand icon on the egg the name that came up was "Bad Egg". I withdrew the egg and put it into my party and looked at the status. It said Status: PkRS. What does this mean?

    1.Simple Questions ^^.
A bad egg is something you recieve when you try to "alter" pokemon into shinies and fail to enter the code correctly.

PKRS is just a status that enhances a pokemon's ability to be stronger, but it only lasts for four days, and once a pokemon has already been infected once it will never happen again ^^.

So train all you can while the pokemon is infected!

Ok, well the thing is I was never trying to alter my pokemon into shinies. And every time the egg hatches the game freezes. then I have to turn it off and if it trys to hatch again the game freezes.

Either your game's corrupt or you've been using cheats. But either way, that's how the bad egg got there. Advice? Put it in the box and never let it hatch. It'll corrupt your game and stuff...

And you're extremely unlucky to get a PokRus (which makes EVs double for the time you have it) on a Pokemon you aren't going to train. But.. if you put it in the box, it might spread to other Pokemon there.

    Question answered so...
