Bad news for zelda fans

    there are bad news because the new legend of zelda will be coming out to sale here in usa at finals of 2005 !
     
    No release date has been officially announced. All we know is 2005. IGN and EBGames June 1st. But that's almost impossible. We know that the first time we'll see a playable version will be at E32K5. Now, if it were released in June here in North America, then it would've been in Japan for a couple of months by then. Meaning before May. Why show only a playable demo at E3 if the game was already released in Japan? My point is any "info" we have now is most likely gibberish.

    By finals, I'm guessing you mean Q4. Something wrong with that? Just in time for the Holiday Season meaning lots of money for Nintendo.
     
    yeah, youre right. I think the new Zelda will be out around Late 2005. that just sucks..... but a new GBA Zelda is coming out.
     
    Why do you call this a bad thing? I'd rather have a delayed and polished game than a cookie cutter sequel. I'm praying that this game is delayed until the Revolution. And they've been working on The Minish Cap for a while. Before ALttP/FS came out even, so I'm not worried about that. But that's also a 2005 release yet that doesn't bother you, DarkLink?
     
    Th Minish Cap is 10000000 times better than the Adult Link!
    I hate that Adult link -.- The Cel Shedding one is much better!

    Not really, I didn't mean that its a bad thing, just that I wished it would come out earlier, thats all. cause of the movies I've seen of it. but as long as it comes out, I really don't care.
     
    im with you darklink that is why i called it bad news and if you have seen the thriler in nintendo official site you will want it more.
     
    I never really thought Zelda was about humor o_O I always liked OoT because since Link was adult for a time, the game felt more mature somehow. I'm glad there's going to be a game with an adult Link again, mainly because I think him battling monsters and villains is more realistic than a young version of Link doing so...it's time for another Zelda with darker themes, and besides, this is going to bring people back to the Zelda franchise who became annoyed with WW's Cel-Shading as opposed to the realism they loved in the N64 games and SSBM.
     
    that is true. Because in my school there are some fans of zelda some were telling that the wind waker its not so good like the ocarina of time. The cool of the new legend of zelda is that now you can use the sword when you are with epona not only the arrows.

    tha ocarina of time is a great game,it is one of best games made in history,but i don't imagine a ww big link.....i think he will look bad......
     
    Yes, that is a good new addition...using arrows on Epona was very hard to to on OoT though, so I hope that L-targeting will be possible from the horse in this one. WW is as good as OoT in some ways, but I don't think that it matches up when it comes to backstory. I also have some small complaints that aren't relevant enough to gameplay to list them here...

    And let's not be too quick to judge that the horse in WW2 is Epona...Epona is long dead, and Lon Lon Ranch is at the bottom of the ocean...
     
    that is what i try to say! there are many legends now that a new one won't see as good as others! ww used more cartoon basics,and a big cartoon linkie will be cool,but i hope they make a good story....not one lik tha son of ganon! i think that tha story could start whit ganon makin' his way out of that rock.....

    it doesn't hav to be epona,mayb other horse...
     
    i think it's a sequel to OOT, not WW cause I mean look at the backround in the movie. if you have not seen the movie, go here.
     
    Well I doubt that it's a sequel to OoT. He travelled away from Hyrule, had the encounter we see in Majora's Mask, and then we know he never returned because of what we learn in the beginning sequences of WW.
     
    yeah, you have a point there...... mabye all of the water evaporated and Hyrule is back and a new link has come?
     
    I was talking to Kaga, we posted at the same time, Icy storm. but you have a good point too. he mabye came back through time travel.
     
    Oddly enough, Link never had the ability to change time on his own. The only way he could do it was by putting the Master Sword back in its container in the Temple of Time, and whenever he would do that it would warp him back seven years. His Ocarina of Time actually doesn't have the power to warp him through time, just through space in OoT o_O Majora's Mask is another matter, but I still think that the Link of those games left for good. If he had wanted to stay and battle enemies of Hyrule, he would have. He wanted to put his past behind him.

    This new Link may have no connection to any other Link from any other game. Possibly the writers for the Zelda games thought it may have been an error to put Hyrule under water, and this one may be Hyrule on land again, except with a lack of explanation for its emergence from the ocean.

    But there's no use in guessing, any guess is equally as correct and equally as wrong at the moment.
