Best Tools for Translating a ROM Hack?

    Hi,

I'm currently working on my first ROM Hack (using Fire Red as a basis) and I really want to translate it to my Native Language as a last step, but I'm not sure how to do it the best/ right way.
Since I want to translate the whole game I need a stable tool that won't corrupt regularly.

Advance Text is very old and is known to mess up and corrupt a lot.
I heard that XCE can sometimes corrupt the script and game too, if existing Script is changed and repointed. (-> What I would do most of the time)
Hex Maniac Advance is also an option, which seems to be more stable, but I'm not that familiar with it on scripting yet, and there seems to be not a lot of easy to follow tutorials on that...

I know that this community has quite a few members that have translated ROM Hacks in the past, successfully.
So I wanted to ask those, who have experience with translating:

Are there any other tools than the above?
What are the best tools for this purpose?
What do I need to watch out for, when using a specific tool?

Thanks, any advice and help is much appreciated!

Just play around with HMA, you'll get used to it. You can also ask in their discord server, very friendly and helpful people.
