So, this is nothing of grand importance, but I looked on Bulbapedia, and I found a Beta Song. It is still programmed into Gold & Silver and has regular data as a Song, but it is not used in anything whatsoever.
It's sad too, because it's a really nice and pretty song. If I had to review it, my review would go something like this;
A very nice song, with an almost poetic quality to it. It emulates that feel you get when you pick your first starter of a brand new game, and then head out for adventure on the first route. It may also remind you of being at the beach or being out at sea, due to it's bouyant sound(Rising, Falling, Rising). It has a grandiose quality of nostalgia, and sounds like something you would hear while playing with a Pokemon.
