Bound by the chains

Deep inside my mind
I sit and wait
bound by fates chains
hoping to escape...

Locked up tight
and the key thrown away
I lie in wait
until that fateful day...

Deep in my mind
where images haunt me so
I pray for an opening to
emerge from the dark and then I'll know...

The time is right and
I am set free...
but in the meantime...
I am bound by the chains...

chains of destiny...
chains of light...
chains of hope...
chains of might...

One day they will fall
and then I will be set free...

Nice poem. It doesn't flow terribly well, but then again, my poems never do either. I really did like it, it was pretty powerful, considering it came from feelings you got from a song! ^-^ All in all, good poem Cybex Mewtwo!

Yep. All of my poems come from the top of my head. So even tough they may not be the best sounding, they have some incredible impact.
