A earthquake 8.2 on the rictor scale has hit the east asia area once again causing another Tsunami, Thailand, India, & Sumartra have so far been effected, the quake occured at aproximently 11:09 Local Indonisia time, keep the people in these areas in your thouhts and prayers.

Yeah, its on the news and everything. I just hope that it won't have the catastrophic effects that the last one did.

8.2 on the richtor scale...pretty devastating. For reference, the major earthquake at San Andreas a while back was a 4-point-something, and the Richtor scale is exponential (or logarithmic, I forget), so an 8 is about 40 times bigger than a 4,

Today morning on the news, before I went to school they were saying there hasn't been any sign of a tsunami, so they relaxed a little...

Apparently it's in the same area. Kinda unlucky...
