4th Gen Brining Riolu to 5th Gen

Hello everyone. Just joined today and hopefully you knowledgeable folks will be able to provide me with an answer to my question.

So I want to breed a Riolu in my Soul Silver game and teach him a few trainer moves he can only learn in 4th gen. Then from there I want to trade my Riolu to my 5th gen Black cartridge. Now Riolu is able to learn Nasty Plot in Black and White, but he wasn't able to learn it in older generations.

So my question is this, even though my Riolu came from my Soul Silver game where he was unable to learn Nasty Plot. If I trade him to Black will he still be able to learn Nasty Plot? Or can pokemon only learn moves available to them from the generation they were bred in?

It will only learn specific moves (like Nasty Plot) in the games it is possible for it to learn it in, regardless of the game it came from. In other words once you trade a Pokemon to 5th gen it'll only be able to learn moves in those 5th gen games (that also goes for TMs), and so your Riolu will be able to learn Nasty Plot in BW.
