    My video game budget is kinda... weak. ;__;

    I only spend about 40 dollars per month, or every two months on new video games that interest me, since I've got other priorities. If I had more money I could buy a video game about every two weeks, but, I think that's too much money used for that. c:

    That being said, How much money do you think you spend on video games per week/month/year?

    Do you generally have a budget aside from the video games that you need, or want to get? Would you say that you spend too much money on video games, or do you think that it's a fair amount? Any thing else you would like to share?

    Depends really. But nomally around $50-70 a year.

    Yeah... I don't get much money.

    I don't really have a budget. I either play free games or take advantage of special offers so it's really rare when I actually pay a lot of money for a game. I guess if I had to estimate it's around $50 yearly, but even that's on the high end. I just really hate spending money, even for games.

    I don't keep track of how much I tend to spend on games annually, it changes depending on how many games I actually buy. Sometimes I'll buy a bunch of games, sometimes...almost none.

    I can say for certain that my money spend on them per week is usually 0. ;D I haven't bought one in a few weeks. Per year I'd say....mmm, maybe $100 or less. That's definitely just a guess, since I don't tend to buy more expensive games and I don't tend to buy a lot of them. I don't really have a budget set aside for games, I just tend to buy them as I get interested in them as long as I don't think they're too high in price.

    Does Google Play count? If not, only an average of $50 a year. This year, only thing that's worth spending on my end is StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void.

    (if Google Play counts, well...$500 worth of Google Play from friends after I did favors for them...but then again, I didn't spend my own money for this credit so...)

    Budget has not been in my vocabulary, not when it comes to games at least, haha. I purchase them in the order of interest so if there's a game that happens to be on my must-have-immediately-on-release-day list then I'd be happy to drop the $60-70 (Canada...-sigh-). In the last year though, I've probably spent a couple hundred on games, digital and physical copies.

    Budgeting is the main reason why I always go for GameStop. They allow me to reserve a new game set for release from $5 and I can keep putting payments as much as I can before the release date of said game. I did this for SSB and ORAS. It was super convenient.

    As for actual budget. It depends on the system. usually it's $50 but it could go higher seeing that most games are like...$70 nowadays with taxes included. >_<

    It more or less depends as some others said. Last year I think I spend perhaps over $100 last year on 3DS games, although for some of them I either got a gift card or it was on sale on the eShop/a store.

    I started getting Steam games this year and I already got a few games for about $40 or less thanks to the sales. There are a few more Steam games that interest me, but I'm waiting on more sales haha.

    It still makes my soul cry on the inside how expensive games are.

    That being said, I've gotten out of the loop with new games.. I spent only 50 euro on pokemon last year, that was it. Oh and MK8.

    I'll probably be getting Splatoon this year then done. I've also splashed some money on LoL (League of Legends)

    So about ~100 euro a year, which is a huge improvement in comparison in how much I used to spend... I probably costed a fortune as a child

    it really is different each month so I can't say there is a constant spending on video games every month, one month I spend nothing, the other month I could have wasted 1.000 euros on video games and gaming equipment. Depends on Steam Sales and if my current equipment becomes obsolete or dies

    Spending money on games isn't something I'd usually do. If it's on a whim or a game I really must have, then yeah, I'll get it. Otherwise, I need to fix my PC before I consider spending on games. Even then, I'll wait for sales haha (Hoping Bioshock Infinite goes on sale for 3 euros again in summer)

    (Canada...-sigh-).

    The Canadian dollar is not doing well. :(

    I tend to buy a lot of bundles, so I usually spend $1-10 on packs of 5-10 games at a time - even if I don't play them all, or even if I bought the pack for just 2 or 3 of the games in it it's still pretty worth it imo. Sometimes they bundle AAA titles in as well, like I got Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite in a bundle once, and Sims 3, Mirror's Edge, etc. during one of the EA bundle sales. If you wait long enough you're bound to be able to snag good games for really low prices. c:

    For this reason I rarely buy single games on their own, and when I do I'll wait for it to go on at least a little bit of a sale so I don't feel as bad for spending over $10 on just one game.

    The lower bound is 50$/year because of PS+.
    I don't really have an upper bound so... I may not be able to answer correctly xD
    Though, it definitely is Neps.sum() * 40$ + other Japanese games =D
    I also can't count it monthly, because there are months with Neps and without them =D
    Definitely goes over 50$ per quarter probably, though.

    I don't get much money and I've been unable to save it up lately. Anyway I'd say I spend around $100-200 per year. I usually wait for price drops (GTA V) before buying one so that saves me some bucks.

    Hm.. it depends. Sometimes only $80 a year (two 3DS games), other times I can buy up to $200-300 in games if a lot of nice things come out that year which I'd want. It doesn't ever seem like much since I usually buy one game every few months if that with how picky I am. 3: The 3DS is all I buy games for too, so.

    I don't have a budget per se, but I have been collecting and buying significantly less than I was this time last year. That's partly due to me not making as much money as I was this time last year, plus when I do get a bit extra, it goes into savings so I can move out. I do save up some cash for new releases, though. I plan on getting Splatoon on release day and some other stuff like Bayonetta 2 and the new Kirby later this year.

    I did buy a PS3 this year though, so that was a chunk out of my cash jar. :P I think I'm good on games for a bit considering how that was a big purchase.

    A year I might be lucky to spend 2 or 3 hundred on video games. I can't talk in months or weeks because I don't really buy stuff regularly. I tend to buy video games in bulk. I've been trying to save a little bit more money this year though, so I've only been getting new games through xbox live with the free games they give out. It's not the best, but it works I guess. I don't have enough income to set aside a stack of cash solely for video games. I wish I did because that's mine and a lot of other people's dreams. But as of right now it's not feasible. :(
