[Other] Bypass Trade Evolutions (red/blue)

I've been searching the forum on my phone for about 30 minutes and haven't found anything so apologies if this has been covered before.

Is there any way to bypass Trade Evolutions (alakazam, gengar etc) in red and blue versions? After years of messing around, I finally want to properly begin a hack of red or blue and would love to be able to make trade evolution pokemon evolve by levelling up instead.

How can it be done and is there a program that can do it or do I need the hex codes?

There is a program for that, where you can change pokemon's info. You could also change its evolutionary lines, too bad I forgot the name
