2nd Gen Cable Troubleshooting

    I am using Pelican's GBA/GBC Game Boy Link Cable to trade Pokemon and battle with my friends in both platforms, GBA and GBC. The cable has stopped working recently. None of the troubleshooting guides have answered my questions. I have the switch set to the right platform, both ends are connected firmly, and my friend and I are ready to battle/trade... Until the game says that I have no connection. Does anybody here have an answer to this?
