4th Gen Can you Trick

Is there a way to trick your DS into thinking that it's another time of day than it actually is, because I'm trying to evolve my riolu but i can't do it during night time?
I've tried changing the time on my DS to and earlier time but it's still dark.

what I do(and I do it alot) when you change the time, act like your going to migrate and it will change the time in the game
I think i used this to migrate twice
cant remember but try this method

You can, I was cheating on another DS game when I forgot to change the time back and now it says my Dialga was caught in 2099.

Yeah just alter your DS' internal clock and change it back when you are done.

Not really. I migrated pokemon from my Emerald version to my Pearl and I changed the internal clock to migrate again. Now it's been 2 going on 3 days and it still says you may only migrate once from the game pak every 24 hours. it's been over 50 hours now. I don't know why it's doing this. I want to migrate my mudkip's and Swampert, oh and my Ditto for breeding. Stupid DS Lite.

Try going inside a building and resetting your internal clock before you start the game. It might be picking up the darkness from where you saved. Also, try setting your clock to 7:59. Wait a minute, and then it will be day time!

Maybe you set the date three days ahead of when you migrated...make sense? So it would think you migrated on April 5th, and therefore not allow you to migrate on April 5th. But that's odd, because when I migrate from Leaf Green, it lets me migrate as much as I want in 24 hours O.o
I migrated 3 times in a row once...

i always change the time and it works =\
and if you want to migrate more then once you need to cartardiges and you migrate change the time put the OTHER cart in go to migrate and then use the one you used first ... it really works ^_^

This is because the game does this to prevent cheating, everytime you change the clock, it resets the 24 hour timer so you cant import an infinite amount.
However with the time of day, it won't hurt you any...you can cheat all you want with that.

what? Change it to an appropiate time (not like 2:00 AM) and it should be fine since the moment you start the game. Other events, like people, though, need to refresh so you can enter a building and exit again if you aren't sure. Changing the DS's time always work.

Migration is another story.
