4th Gen Can't find deposited GTS Pokemon

    Okay, so in Diamond I deposited a Machoke in the GTS. Then I saved, turned Diamond off, and switched to Pearl. In Pearl I tried searching for the Machoke I had just deposited and... it wasn't there! Why not??

    Bonus: After that I checked back on Diamond to see if the Machoke was traded already, and it was still there in the GTS...
     
    there are probably a TON of machokes on the GTS. Keep leaving the room, and searching for it again, it will keep rotating the trainers.
     
    It actually works on more of a first-come-first-serve basis. You'll see the same 6 pokes until they get traded off
     
    Oh, really? Hm. I never knew that.
