    So I start up the newest episode of pokemon. That would be Mikuri's contest!

    Sit down and I've been paying attention to the randomized people, they look pretty good today! And two "giggling" girls come on. Two young, girls.

    Maybe the second one doesn't show to much but the first image that comes to mind is Sakura and Tomoyo from Card Captor Sakura!

    Yeah I actually just watched the episode and I thought so too. XD But the hats don't count, because ALL the Mikuri fangirls have them. Also in the background, that girl with the brown hair looks liek the girl from Pokemon Colleseum.
     
    Hoe~ you're right, they do look like Sakura and Tomoyo. Although, the discrepenecies between the Tomoyo look-a-like is a little more noticable than the Sakura one, but definitely interesting nonetheless.

    xD Well maybe they decided to stick a cameo in there because of the hats?

    But the more I look at it, the more it seems like there's a connection. Maybe they were running out of generic background characters and decided to rip off appearances from other series. ^^;
     
    They do look similar O_O

    But the real Sakura is so much cuter...in fact that "Pokemon Sakura" is kinda ugly. (I don't like the way her eyes are drawn)
     
    Wow!!! They so do look alike!!! I have to say that the Pokemon drawers really wanted to play with us this week. Teeheehee. This is a really coolie cameo I have to say since it is so different!!!

    Yeppie. I have to say that it isn't a perfect match but you can see that Sakura and Madison were Pokmon-animeized. Teeheehee Coolies.

    The hat also gave it away too. Teeheehee

    For a second Mikrui and Yue looked the same in my mind! XD I kinda wanna make a cross over fanfic now with them.
     
    Although less similar to the point that it'd be just a coincidence, Jimmy from Houen reminded me a bit of Li from Cardcaptor Sakura.

    Although it's a lot less similar. The green of Jimmy's shirt is more blue and his undershirt thingie isn't white.

    That CCS thing was awesome. I always wondered what Sakura and Madison would look like in Pokemon form. I guess now we know.

    This episode was filled with interesting characters. Did anyone see the Alana/Oscar/Joe reference in the scoreboard thingie where they got the pictures of the coordinators?
     
    Maybe it's a bit of a tribute to CCS, for whatever reason..

    Animation companies do that at times, and it wouldn't surprise me if that were the case.
     
    oh wow..... at first i was skeptical, but there are just too many similarities.... i wonder what pokemon Sakura would have.... I could see her with an Espeon of course.
     
    Well, Espeon would definitely be appropriate, seeing as how its shares a striking resemblance with The Dash card.

    oh wow, that is just creepy... still a nice cameo to say the least. I wonder how they got away with that?
     
    they really look like them. it was a really good cameo. Now I´m imagining... An episode with sakura and pokémon... nah! That doesn't sound good at all.
     
    Pokemon to Card Captor Sakura would be cool. It would be interesting if Ash x Sakura isn't? Lol. Then it would be entitled "Pokemon Captor Sakura".
