The most amazing card game in history, and a really good anime.

Anybody here in the pokecommunity interrested in cardfight vanguard?
If not then i highly advise you to check it out!!

Just to confirm, is this meant to be discussion on the card game or discussion on the anime? That ends up determining which section this ultimately goes into.

As for me, I run Dark Irregulars aside from using the starters to teach people how to play. Waiting for the English release of set 3 so I can actually start collecting, but set 6 doesn't sound to bad with Angel Feather.

Anime-wise I rank it pretty high among the card game shows for being down to Earth and not really being too high on the take over the world scale.

Awsome!! I am currently using a Golden palidin deck, they just came out in english!!

Yes, I also play Cardfight Vanguard in real life. I run a (pretty crappy) english Kagero deck as my main, and an un-customized Narukami deck.

As for the anime, i agree with Digi. Vanguard doesn't "rule the world", but it is still important enough to make a show about it.

I can't wait until Vanguard becomes more globalized, then more people around my area may play it.

I completely agree and understand your prespectives
But i must say that other then pokemon vanguard is one of my favorite things to do right now!!

I've been watching the anime and really, it's quite middle of the road.

The problem with card-based battles is once you see how someone battles it's then a repetitive cycle, until they inexplicably draw a card they've never played before or reveal a magical ability that solves all problems. :P

Also I feel like the level of 'skill' to play Vanguard compared to things such as Yu-Gi-Oh is much lower. Although now that (in the anime) more cards seem to have abilities that might change and make it more of an equal.

Ive seen the first season already. Its not so interesting to watch compared to other card fight anime like Yugi-oh.

Well sweeties, I watched a few episodes, it's kind of meh. It has the popularity of Yugioh R and it's just as entertaining as Yugioh GX. I rather read Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, honestly, sweeties.
