3rd Gen Catch Latios!!? Help!

i' ve some problem with Latios..

i cannot cath him!!!

when i met him , Latios run away and i dont' know how i can catch this Pok?mon.


have you some interesting strategy for catch him??

You can just throw the masterball at him first of all...

Secondly, use something with mean look to stop it from running away. Then you can just catch it as if it's any other Pokemon. (method i used)

Thirdly, use a fast and powerful Pokemon and just unleash a False Swipe. Let it run. When it reappears, (I think) it will keep the same amount of health. Then you can mean look it and capture it.


After you met him once, you can start tracking it down with your pokedex, but everytime you fly, it'll change its location...

All true, but you left out you can always use pokemon with a special ability not to let the oppenent run such as wynaut and evolved form, and also trapinch.

Arena trap doesn't work due to levitate ability (same goes for Diglett/trio)

I dislike shadow tag for the eon Pokemon... It's impossible to time your attack power so that they will be knocked down to a very low amount of hp in red and put to sleep/paralysis at the same time.
