    Ceb's Spritacular Threadland (updated 10/30/09)

Hi! I'm new guys, please you to love me well.

    Old Spriiiiiites

    [PokeCommunity.com] Ceb's Spritacular Threadland

You may have seen these in my old sig, from left to right we haaaave.

-Solrock/Lunatone prevo, pretty generic. He has Solrock's spherical shape and his lumps but he has Lunatone's crators, eyes and somewhat dull palette.
-Pinsir evolution very old, but I've edited it a bit! He looks skinny because he's shed a lot of Pinsir's bulk in favor of more speed and attack power, much like how Scyther's evolved form, Scizor sacrificed some speed for some defense and power...
-Qwilfish evolution, old. People liked it so I tossed it in there.
-Cherrim Evolution, I made this simply to fill up space in my signature...It kinda shows the danger of trying to design a pokemon without giving it much thought. Very lackluster and not at all impressive. Ickies!
-A Male Combee evolution, I was planning on making an evolution for him as well.

    Newer stuff!

    [PokeCommunity.com] Ceb's Spritacular Threadland

A fusion of Tangrowth and them little Wormafolks, It may not look like it but this is mostly custom work, I had to completely rework Tangrowth's body.

Here's Gelidiva! (Gelid + Diva) I love Jynx, don't you love Jynx? CUSTAM

    First Attempt at a Trainer!

    [PokeCommunity.com] Ceb's Spritacular Threadland

I have never made a trainer before, but then like Duskwire was all like "You could totally make a trainer!" and I was like UH OK and so I made this. I wouldn't call it 100% complete, especially with the bag and all. But I'm really proud and it's all custom too!

    Non Pokemon Stuff

    Spoiler:

Yes, any and all hackers out there can use my sprites (Except the trainer, but why would you use him?). Yes you can use them without asking but I'd like a little heads up and a wee bit of credit~

Oh wow BB...these are awesome! The shading and proportions are really good. I love the Wormafolks, they are adorable :3
    A+ Buddy (:

The Pinsir evolution looks familiar... That you, Snare?

Really great work, but the Cherrim evolution looks a little weird with such a dark face.

Yup, that's me. Ol' Snare. Wherever do you recognize me from? 8D

Yeah, that Cherrim evo is easily my least favorite sprite...QUITE THE NUISSANCE, IT IS.

Your old sprites didn't show up but I really enjoy the Tangrowth/Wormadam concept. It actually looks quite authentic.

Just saw you on serebii forums

the Tangrowths are quite good (Burmy addicted much? :D)
but the evos and pre-evos are not quite applealing and The Jynx evo (for me that is)

overall, really nice sprites and I expect more coming up ;)

I'm having problems with Imageshack, sometimes the images disappear in my posts and I end up lookin' like a jackass! >:X

I'll have to upload them to my usual host.

    ...D:

    I'm not BynineB ;_; I'mma Snare.

Edit: Uploaded the pokemon-based sprites to my usual host, not too worried about the other three. Also, I'm very interested in learning how to make tiles. I think that'll be my next project.

Ice, there are, like, seven original pieces in there... :D

They have magically appeared within ten minutes then.

And now I see that image at the top I recognise that it is in fact Snare. I was confused because I was almost 100% sure that Byine made those Tangrowth.

Anyway, Gelidiva is really nice, but I'd make the eyes more defined. They're a bit hard to see from afar.

The harp is nice but the area farthest from us that we can see makes the strings of the Harp have a translucent sheet of something going through them; basically it's too bright.

But these sprites really are outstanding. Very well done.

You being a Burmy fanatic makes me wanna see a Tangela fusion 'cause those Tangrowth fusions are so kawaii!

is Plantman finished or ongoing? I think you should do that mugshot too

These are really great, not much to point out...I feel like I'm trying really hard to find something to criticize. Something that bugged me: One of the Qwilfish evo's spikes has this small, black outline at the bottom that's really standing out, and the spikes on the side of its head look really two-dimensional.

I'm a huge fan of Pinsir, if that were its evolution my life would be a little more delightful.

    PS: I really like your Burmy-ness. >3>

I really like this one. You emulated the pokemon style perfectly, and the design is very well done. It looks enough like Jynx to make the relation obvious, but it's different enough to show that it's a new pokemon and not just a fat Jynx. Love the shading on the dress, and the hairstyle is interesting. You also managed to incorporate a glowing outline with it being distracting and overwhelming, which is something I rarely see. Excellent job.

These do look like they took a lot of work. They look so natural, and again, the shading is flawless. If I saw these in a game they wouldn't seem out of place at all.

I love the wooden part of this. It looks so complex. And the black parts are so shiny :D
There are a few awkward parts, like the shading on the bottom segment of the front part, and the linework on the left side near the wooden part. Overall it's very good, though.

Such kind, kind words! ;A; *single tear*

I haven't made a sprite in over a month now, though. I fear I may be a little rusty.

i like these. these are nice. tangrowth&burmy sprites, best things i eva sawed.

New sprite everyone! My first attempt at making a custom trainer. I know a few pixels need fixing, especially on the arms and hands but migawd I spent so much time on him that I wanna hear some nice things first.

His name is Russell/Rusty and he's the son of a honey farmer and a baker, which explains his...rotund appearance. All his Pokemon are themed around honey.

I especially like the trainer and the Jynx. I also like the Tangrowths, but I feel that you could improve on the pink one (sorry, I forgot the type :S), and I don't particularly like the ground version's arms.

You're the first person to notice the yuckiness of the ground one's arms! I was really tired of spriting it so I literally scribbled her arms in. D:

    And pink is steel. 8D
