Character customization idea

    The battle chateau had ranks, right? So I may not have a popular idea, but maybe they'll add the chateau and special outfits according to their ranks in the game. The character customization was better in xy, smusum, and swsh. Not sure if legends 2 will bring an extensive character wardrobe selection or not.
     
    I agree. While Pokémon X and Y had character customization that was rather mid in my opinion, as players could only customize the physical appearance of their main character in a very limited way, they did have good clothing options. I agree that Pokémon (Ultra) Sun and (Ultra) Moon, as well as Pokémon Sword and Shield had much better character customization. In fact, thus far, the Pokémon Sword and Shield games were personal favorites of mine regarding character customization because they had good skin color options and a large selection of nice clothes to choose from. In regards to actually customizing the main character, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet aren't bad, as you actually get to customize their faces a bit. I'm just not a big fan of being forced to wear those school uniforms for the entire game. Hopefully, Pokémon Legends: Z-A does indeed bring back good character customization and expand on what Pokémon Scarlet and Violet brought to the table. I also like your idea of having uniforms based on rank regarding Battle Frontier. I deserve a great uniform for the high rank that I know I will get.
     
    I really hope they bring back different outfits and customization options in Z-A; Kalos and especially Lumiose City is portrayed as obsessed with fashion and style, and it would be bizarre to not be able to change clothes in the supposed fashion capital of the Pokemon world. I also agree that having special outfits for achieving certain ranks in the battle frontier/online is a good idea. It would be a nice tangible reward you could show off to others online for the hours it takes to learn competitive battling and climb the ladder.
     
    ORAS didn't have customization, and I think official word was because Kalos was a place of fashion. I expect PLZA to pay off with the best customization options out of any pokemon game.
