Character ID request

    Since I don't see a thread in which you can ask to identify certain Anime characters I might give this topic a try. I don't know if it's allowed, but I don't see anywhere in the rules here it's forbidden.

    Anyone knows from what Anime/Manga she is from? I really have no clue, but it's bugging me for some time now who she is. Hope any of you would be kind enough to help me out

    nah, its not her name XD

    she's Tamaki Kousaka from To Heart 2, strangely enough she's popular when it comes to pics. ah meh
     
    Hmm, i don't think she's from To Heart2. Do you think you could post where you found this image? maybe a url or forum link?
     
    I think we're getting off topic here, the character Hayate asked to identify wasn't from To Heart2, not the pic posted by Hotaru (which definitely is!) >.<
     
    Glad Hotaru is helped out, now only I remain. Even though it might be difficult for someone to remember her, I still share a wish someone knows and would be kind enough to post here ^^

    ya, there's also a chance that its not anime/manga/game at all though, it could be someone's original chara/ picture...
    its 800 x 600 so its probably a game screenshot. Looking at game companies, i can almost say for sure that its not Key or Studio.ego...ah meh. I say start looking at game companies based on eyes. Chances say if one of their games doesn't have the same ee pattern, none of em will.
     
    I'm not really sure but i'd say kyoto animation or studio deen >.<
    And i also agree, it could just be an original character
     
    eh...i kinda doubt it, KyoAni and Studio deen aren't a game companies, though it could be a promotional graphic, but both ways the KyoAni eyes are almost completely different so that's out XD
     
    But you know any way how to start finding those companies. I have not much of a clue how to do it @_@
     
    ya, the only somewhat big companies i know are leaf/aquaplus, princess soft, Key, Studio.ego, and F&C, you could start there, or post it at an anime pics gallery and ask there

    Thanks very much Lavabyle, I think it might work indeed ^^. If that girl I described before really is a game-only character she may appear at the company you found that other at. Any advise how to browse the site?
     
    make sure you can see the URL at the bottom, it'll be in english, go to products, and look through each game there

    Sorry, but that's actually a character from the anime and game Disgaea. You probably looked at the person's username instead of the name of the anime.

    As for the picture that Hayate uploaded, digi-kun is correct about it being from a game company. Another popular game company that I know is Type-Moon, but the picture doesn't seem to look like the type of art they have. I checked on Wikipedia and looked up the game company - Key and it showed some of the games that were produced by them. The game with a main character that looks similar to the picture you posted is this one called planetarian ~The Reverie of a Little Planet~. You can find more info here.

    If that wasn't it, then look up other game companies that digi-kun mentioned on Wikipedia until you find it. Hope that helps. =]
