I know Christmas is a ways away...will not that much but yeah.

Anyway...alot of you must have a tradition for chrismtas.

For me...it isnt christmas until I hear Frosty the Snowman...and watch all the christmas specials with lots of popcorn. <3 At the crack of down I wake up my parents and we open presents between midnight and 6 am. XD I also like to watch The Polar Express...that is something new.

    What about you? =o

Drown myself in music, eat dinner with family, computer, no christmas tree 'cause that's just..not us. o.o;~

We sometimes watch a movie or two. =P And basically hang out together.

On Christmas Eve my family (usually just my parents and David) watch our favourite Christmas movies together and eat tons of homemode goods. :3 We of course set up a Christmas tree, and every Christmas Eve, David and I get an early gift...which is always pajamas. xD

We watch the Christmas specials of Santa Claus is Coming to Town and [/I]Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown![/I] Then there's a huge fight as to who gets to put up the tree because no one really wants to do so. Once the tree goes up, we wait to see which animal pulls it down.

Christmas Eve, and my mother drags us to church at midnight. It's the only time we go the whole year...

Then we come home, throw unwrapped! presents under the tree, and crawl into bed.

I'm the first one up Christmas morning. I wake up at five in the morning. So I tiptoe out, grap a present, and run back to bed with it. Doing so stinks now because I know what I am getting, as I pick out the presents myself...for me.

After the family reveals their presents, then we eat a large meal, go into our seperate rooms, and play with the present.

Not the classic idea of a Hallmark traditional Christmas, but...eh...

Christmas starts for me a little bit before Thanksgiving. I think the first sign that everyone's caught the spirit is the fact that the mall turns into this whole other world. It seems like everyone is cheerful, all this Christmas music plays, and a lot of stuff is on sale. There's also this disco station that starts playing Christmas music the day after Halloween, so it always starts even a little earlier...

For me on Christmas, I go to my parents' room and wait for my dad to set up the camera (he likes to tape us). We run downstairs and open the presents, and then eat breakfast. Go to my gramma's house and open those presents, and then hang out at my aunt's the rest of the day, eat a big Italian meal, and open those presents/play with our other toys.

I don't celebrate Christmas because I am Jewish, though that doesn't stop me from having traditions assossiated with that day. On Christmas Day, my sister and I get together with our non-Christian friends and play board games or watch movies together.

Watching my favorite Christmas movies: Home Alone (1+2) and The Santa Clause =)
Although this year I shall also see The Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time since I was 4.

On Christmas, I fly over to the Philippines, and 'socialize' with my cousins and such, usually in my grandmothers house. Then my uncles, aunts and grandparents gives us money, then my parents give out presents (it's usually only my parents who give out presents xP).

All I really do is get a Christmas Stocking and scoff as much food as I can before teh family wakes up. But after they wake up I open up prezzies and yeah that's what wil probably happen though I have to go see my Dad that day ><

    <3 Nica--Likes teh stocking XD

It's come down, wait for everyone else to gather in the foyer, and begin tearing the hell out of the stack below. Then we head off to other relatives' houses on the mainland and repeat the process.

    --various Christmas concerts/plays/other stage productions
--running wild in the mall shopping
    --watching those timeless specials/Christmas movies
--carol services on Christmas Eve (they give everybody candles and turn the church's lights out...very pretty)

    Christmas Day:

--Mom makes special breakfast (usually breakfast pizza)
--run to the living room and bug Dad to let us open presents
--when he finally relents, it's a storm of flying wrapping paper!
--play with whatever we got the whole day.

It starts the day after Thanksgiving, when we set everything up.
Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, we usually go to church for a Christmas service. We might open a package on Christmas Eve, depends. Then, on Christmas, we open presents. It's nothing really special.

If we live in the States, we usually travel both to Nebraska and Wisconsin. If we're overseas, we usually are alone. It's going to be like that this year. >:

i've avoided going into a religious rant, lol

i uh... do nothing really, just lie in bed for half the day as usual; having stayed up until about 4am as i normaly do, it's very hard to wake up at the 7am everyone gets up to open their presents. then for the rest of the day (until 4am again o.O; ) i sit here at my desk, playing my latest video game; so cynical xD

i'm not part of any religion. however i do believe jesus was a real person, a teacher and healer in my mind. so i do celebrate the whole point of the festival to a certain degree

I have no Christmas tradition, what I usually do is when my family is together I stay away from them because I don't like them

    :t093:~*!*~Queen Boo~*!*~

Near Christmas, every year my sister and me make a special type of cookies!

Then we go to my grandparent's house and then my aunt's house for the rest of the day.

And yes my dad does tape us opening presents like my sister said.

Christmas starts for me after Thanksgiving and I watch the Christmas specials up to Christmas. On Christmas morning, eve or even midnight I go to church. On Christmas morning after church (assuming I went in the morning) I go to my grandmother's house to meet with family and open gifts.

    Ah, I love Christmas <3

Well, I won't feel completely Christmasy until I've watched the Christmas specials on TV, like the specials on QVC and ABC ^^ We'll decorate the tree like usual, sing carols around the house pretty much the whole month, and there's ALWAYS a CD playing with Christmas music!

But the tradition in my family is to prepare the Christmas Feast on Christmas Eve, go to Christmas Mass, then come home and eat dinner at about 11 PM.

Then when the clock hits midnight, we open our presents! And we stay up late celebrating and playing with our presents. Then on Christmas Day, we take our stuffed stockings and spend the rest of the day in celebration ^^ It's the tradition my mom had growing up in the Phillipines =3

Sometimes we'll go to bed early and wake up to open the presents, though ^^

Either way, it's so much fun!
