Are you a fan of the "Classic" video games?

The Classics are the founding video games. The 80's games, some from the NES, others arcade games.

A few example Classics would be Super Mario Brothers, Pac-Man, The Legend of Zelda...

These orginals will live forever in the history of gaming.

So what do you think of them? Do you still play them? Share your experiences.

Being a wii owner gives me access to the virtual console feature which has some of the great games of the early nintendo era. So of course i love those 80's age games. My favorites are double dragon, mega man series, battletoads, castlevania, zelda, mario bros, ninja gaiden, and well probably a lot others that only had one or two parts but were really cool games.

My brother has a huge collection of the real hard copies though.

Is that old hand-held Sega GameGear eighties? I used to play Earthworm Jim, Lion King, and Sonic on it...I think it took like six batteries run. xD Wish I still had it :<

Funny thing is that that system is mostly found with those games bundled with it. The Game Gear is early 90's but still early and it was a fun system. The first one to have a tv like screen that could be played in the dark. The only game i played on it was sonic and he had some hand glider thing. Yeah it took a load of batteries.

I love puzzle games from the 80's. Back then, puzzle games were all really quirky and innovative, but then Tetris came out and everyone decided to stop being innovative and just make Tetris clones.

My favorite 80's puzzle games are Binary Land, Sokoban and Kickle Cubicle.
